Rebekka Rognøy
Producer
Rebekka Rognøy is a graduate producer from Westerdals in Oslo. Her graduation film DOG EAT DOG, directed by Rikke Gregersen, won both a Student BAFTA and a Student Academy Award in 2019. Since then, she has produced a number of short films, most recently the puppet short IVAR, which was selected for Sundance 2026.
Her debut feature SOLOMAMMA, directed by Janicke Askevold, premiered in the Main Competition at Locarno in 2025. She is currently producing the feature film SMALL TALK, directed by Even Hafnor and starring Oscar-nominated actress Inga Ibsdotter Lilleaas.
It will have its Norwegian cinema release november 2026.
Rebekka works as a producer at Bacon Pictures, where she develops and produces feature films, short films and TV-drama.
